Captains Salute the Residents of Eastlake with Exclusive $2 Ticket Offer in April & Early May

(Eastlake, OH) – The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, have partnered with the City of Eastlake to offer $2 tickets to Eastlake residents in April or early May of the upcoming season. The $2 ticket offer is good for all Captains home games from Opening Night on April 8 through May 12.
Tickets can be purchased at the Captains box office at Classic Park beginning March 13 and residents must show proof of residency with an ID showing an Eastlake address. The special offer is only available in-person and not via on-line purchase.
“We have had such a positive response from Eastlake residents when we have done our one-day appreciation event the last two years that we decided to do it again and offer more game options”, Captains VP and General Manager Brad Seymour said. “This is our hometown and residents should be proud to enjoy a great facility like Classic Park and we want to afford as many residents an opportunity to take in a game as possible”.
Eastlake Mayor Ted Andrzejewski echoed Seymour’s comments, stating, “The City of Eastlake thanks the Captains organization for making the $ 2 ticket price available to Eastlake residents. This is a welcome gesture to show their appreciation to the residents of Eastlake for their support of the team and for their tax dollars helping to pay for Classic Park. I hope many Eastlake residents will take advantage of this special offer.“
Individual game tickets go on sale for the 2010 season on Saturday March 13 at 10 AM at the Classic Park box office or on line at captainsbaseball.com.
Full season tickets plans, 12-, 20-, and 35-game mini ticket plans for the 2010 season are on sale now and information can be found at the Captains website www.CaptainsBaseball.com.
The Captains will join the Midwest League in 2010 and will open the season at Classic Park on Thursday April 8 at 6:30 pm versus the West Michigan Whitecaps, the class A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
