Leaf Collection
This year, leaf collection falls November 7 through December 8, depending on whether you live in Ward 1, 2, 3 or 4. Please check the schedule to determine when crews will be on your street, and for other important information about what materials will be collected, etc.

Trash Removal
In observance of the following holidays, the Eastlake Service Department will delay pick up by one day during the calendar year (For example, if holiday falls on Monday, pick up will be Tuesday).
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day.
All other days will follow normal pick up schedule.
Snow Removal
The Eastlake Service Department clears streets as quickly as possible, beginning with main streets. To ensure safety, the following list of priority streets remains in place:
- Main routes
- Secondary streets
- School routes
- Side streets
- Cul de sacs and dead ends
Yard Waste
Eastlake residents wishing to dispose of their yard waste can do so beginning on April 1, 2011 continuing thru December 2, 2011.
Dear Valued Customer,
As you know yard waste will be starting soon. All yard waste must be in brown paper yard waste bags or labeled trash cans 30 gallons or less. Sticks and branches must be tied and bundled with string no more than 4 foot in length. 50 pound maximum on any bag, container or bundle. "No" flower pots, flats, lumber, animal waste, railroad ties or trash of any kind. Yard Waste: The part of solid waste composed of grass clippings, leaves, twigs, branches, and other garden refuse. The City of Eastlake encourages residents and businesses to recycle their waste by dropping material off at:
- J.F.K. Senior Center (Taft School)
- City Hall
- Bruce Yee Park
Aluminum can drop-off for Burn Victims is in the back of City Hall (look for black trailer).
