The Eastlake Building Department asks you to remember the following:

Check permit applications for detailed information
Follow the Residential Code of Ohio, (RCO) for all residential code requirements
Follow the Ohio Building Code of Ohio (OBC) for all commercial requirements

Call the Building Department 24 hours in advance to request an inspection
For your protection, make sure that all contractors performing work are registered with the City first
The building department does not recommend homeowners obtain permits for contractors. Please call for details
