City of Eastlake Tax Amnesty Program
February 3 through February 10, 2010
All City Tax Returns from prior years that are filed and fully paid by February 24, 2010 will have all penalties waived and the taxpayer will receive amnesty from prosecution for the past years returns not filed. The taxes owed and interest must be paid.
All City Tax Returns from prior years that are filed by February 24th and full payment made within six months will receive 50% of all penalties waived and the taxpayer will be granted amnesty from prosecution. A payment plan must be set up with the tax department. The taxes owed and interest must be paid.
The Tax Department will be open on Saturday February 6th from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM and also one evening to be announced as well as during regular business hours to assist with your returns.
The Tax amnesty program only occurs once every 5 years .This is not and never will be a yearly event. This is an Eastlake Taxpayers Only Opportunity to avoid significant penalties and legal action by filing their back taxes during the tax amnesty period.
